My b2evolution Version: 4.1.x
I have my blog linked to my twitter account with the twitter plugin. Everything works fine, except the url is wrong.
It comes across like this
New gaming content: http://aftermath.twilighteve.com/aC2 #fb
However, that url gives a 404 error. When I click on the post title the url is
http://aftermath.twilighteve.com/?p=54&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
Is there some setting I am missing? Should the url that gets put in the twitter post resolve?

Well looks like I posted too soon.
The blog in question is on a different subdomain than the b2e installation. That subdomain didn't get the same .htaccess file as the main domain. Copying over the supplied one fixes the problem. In addition this fixes the problem retroactively so that the former 404d urls now resolve.
tldnr:
make sure the directory where the blog in has a good .htaccess file (eg the one supplied by b2e)
