The better solution would be to uncheck the "Protect trackback URLs" plugin setting.. ;)

I'm not sure where or how to set my blog to where trackbacks work.
I'm getting this error at the moment.

I'm using the latest version,, 1.8.1
#1 is the blog
#2 the trackback URL.

Update:
Got it fixed.
It's with the Captcha plugin
under advanced:
BeforeTrackbackInsert is checked. So trackbacks fail because they need to be validated first.
