hi guys.
One of my blogs is a news blog and what i am trying to do is on the main page of my site have a section where it displays the current news storys just by the date and title and then when you click on it, it goes to the news story on the blog. is there a mod out there to do this or does anyone know the code to do this? any help would be great.

try adding the <!--more--> tag at the very beginning of each post... and edit the "Read More >>" text to say simply "Read" (I saw instructions for that somewhere ... ).
Note: I'm just a n00b just trying to think-outside-the-box ... there may well be a much better answer than the above.
