My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x

Hi.

I'm trying to edit my CSS template file. I'm going to Admin -> Templates -> custom.css -> Save.

Also, I'm trying to change the blog language at Admin -> Blog settings -> Changing the language -> Save. Nothing happens when editing any of those settings. Why is that?

Got a link to your blog? If you're not using the custom skin then you won't be able to edit your template/skin files through the back office. You will have to use an external editor then upload the files via FTP to handle other skins.

Swedish..

But anyway, the CSS is updated. I downloaded the CSS file from my server to my computer and checked it, and my changes were there, but they did no effect. Here is the CSS file, the changes are in the body tag, I changed the background color and the font, but as you can see the background color is not #333333.

You are not using the skin named 'custom'. http://www.robbymeister.net/blogg/index.php?skin=custom is your blog with the 'custom' skin selected. Your skin is called 'nifty_corners' and uses background images. So you would have to make your desired changes to the style sheet for the 'nifty_corners' skin.

Oh, ofcourse. Thank you :)

But why doesn't the language I select the blog to be get applied?

;)

The locale setting applies to your visitor's browser, meaning somehow it figures out if your visitor is from a different locale and translates the bits it can translate to that language. It NEVER translates the body of a post by the way. Things like "Leave a comment" get translated IF you have a language pack for the other locales language.

For example I see your post is written in a language I can't read but "permalink * leave a comment" is in English. My locale yah?

Here do a test. Make a sample post and for the POST select German as the locale/language. You should then see that the translatable bits for that post get converted to German. There is an order at work here, but I forget exactly what it is. First the visitor's location, then the blog's setting, then the post's selected locale is what I think it is. I could have that backwards though...

Okay, then it's cool.

It's another thing. I want to edit/delete the div that is right above the title div, but I can't find it. I don't even know the id of it. What's the name of it?
