Changed to absolute url, published, nothing showing up

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I changed my url to an absolute url, created a test post, and from what I can tell I published it. The link http://markmcleod.org/public_html/blogs/artpress/ shows no content and when browsing the folder through my ftp app nothing is in the artpress folder. So it seems like I am not publishing. Can anyone give me some help on what I should be doing? I am a recent switcher from blogger and used to clicking post and the post being there. I think I am just missing something.

How does that work? When i connect to the site through an ftp client, there is nothing in the folder. Where is this endless refresh located...html code, something in the post itself? I understand html a little, but definitely appreciate your help.

Bimbo,

From what I can tell this is a default function if my server does not find an index file. Should I change some settings in b2 to make sure files are being added to that folder?

Figured it out. I was renaming the .php file through the admin panel of b2 and thought it would automatically update or create the new file name. It does not. I changed the name through my ftp client and voila, it works.
