In my header, I have added some free html, in which I use to place an image, centred at the top of my blog. I'm using the Asevo skin.

Despite specifying the H and W in the html, the image becomes stretched and distorted. I've tried fiddling about with style.css but I can't seem to find a way of keeping the image at its original dimensions.

Could anyone say what the problem might be?

Many thanks

Cliff

[Edit: it renders correctly in Konqueror, but not in FF 11.0]

Yes, sorry about that.

As it's a members only blog I've had to blank the detail out but if you look at https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B8yN6T-PygT9MnJsaVZOckJTM1U, it will show what's going wrong (but only in FF).

As you can see, the top image is too long. It overhangs the edge of the main body of the blog, and so the text in the image is elongated and distorted. I can't work out how to make it line up properly.

Hi

The problem can be corrected through style.css or page properties, as the image is over stretched in the header in comparison to rest of the body or clearing the cache in Firefox might help.
