Show all blogs on each individual blog

I seem to be the only one who wants to be able to do this from what my searches returned. I apologize if I just missed the answer to this somewhere.

I have multiple blogs and when you are on each blog you can only see the categories for that specific blog.

Blog 1 shows all categories for all blogs
Blog 2 shows blog 2 categories
Blog 3 shows blog 3 categories

I would like to be able to have

Blog 1 shows all categories for all blogs
Blog 2 shows all categories for all blogs
Blog 3 shows all categories for all blogs.

A) Am I nuts?
b) Is this possible?

Maybe we can just go with how do I enable cross posting? That way I can just make one big blog instead of 4 separate blogs...

(The ability to cross post would be to move all current posts into the new categories in the superblog and not lose them and save myself the time and effort of copy and paste and edit timestamps for 200 or whatever posts.)
