Problem Using the CODE tag

I'm trying to post the information below in my blog as an example for marketers but it does not allow me to do so. I'm using the code tag but the error I get in the preview screen is, "Invalid post, please correct these errors:
Illegal tag: html".

<meta http-equiv='refresh' content='0; 
url=http://www.search-engine-optimization-tools.com/track/referID=12345'> 
</head>

How do I correct this?

Hey that tool worked great! The only problem I have is that the code displayed does not stay in the body of the post so it gets cut off. Right now I'm using the "Custom" skin and it is a little narrow. How I can I fix the output so it wraps to stay within the boundaries? Is there a way?
