Blogs shown on aggregated Blog#1

Hello all

I'm using the latest 1.7beta source direct from CVS (updated Jan 25th).

My question is this.

For a specific blog, If I deselect the checkbox
Include in public blog list:
Check this if you want this blog to be displayed in the list of all public blogs.

I see that the blog in question no longer appears in the blog list (good).

However (and this is the problem), I am surprised that posts from the blog still appear on the aggregated blog page (blog #1).

Before I start mining the code I thought I'd first ask:
is this expected behavior?

My preferred behavior would be that the blog no longer show in the aggregate list.

Cool. Thanks for the rapid reply.

I suppose if I want to hide an entire blog without deleting it I can just make the posts non-published.

'protected' would be the ideal status. That would allow registered members who are also members of the blog to see the posts. If that is more access than you desire you could use 'private', which means the author and only the author get to see that post.

It is expected behaviour indeed.

The plan is to get rid of the special blog #1 alltogether AND to make any blog a potential aggregation of other blogs (which you could choose).

Of course, there's a problem: time to implement :(
