Which browser are you using? And which b2evo version are you running?

b2evo is 9.2
browser is firefox 1.5

i tried it again and instead of saving the post i previewed it first. here's the error:

Invalid post, please correct these errors:

* Found invalid URL: Invalid URL

any ideas?

btw I found a workaround.

As a side note for anyone stuck with this problem, my current workaround is simply switching off html_checker in conf/_formatting.php

$use_html_checker = 0;

but as advised, I have switched security_checker on:
$use_security_checker = 1;

I tried it and it works.

I wonder what the effects are setting the html_checker to 0? Is there another workaround that is better?
