[4.1.x] Two problems upgrading to 4.1.2 - Accents and blank

My b2evolution Version: 4.1.x

I upgraded from 4.0.5 to 4.1.2 and encountered two problems:

1) All tags with Spanish characters accentes lost its accent and a triangle with a question mark appears instead.

2) All post individual pages now reload automatically and a blank page appears with an image reload sign. The page stays loading indefinitely.

The accents problem is visible in Tags and Tag Cloud. The other problem appears when going to any individual post.

Select English-utf8 locale during upgrade.

2) All post individual pages now reload automatically and a blank page appears with an image reload sign. The page stays loading indefinitely.
Don't know what this could be. Try to disable AJAX forms on Blog settings > Advanced page

I had this same problem and this fix worked for me.
