Hello, I have started a blog on TechAbsurd.com, but I want to connect it to a forum powered by phpBB. I have installed the forum, and it works fine via techabsurd.com/reviews but i want it to be a menu item in my blog so people have a quick link to it. So, i went into the admin panel and went into widgets. in there I found 'menu' and added a new widget. The widget's name was "all reviews", as my site is a review site run by users, and I needed a link to the forums which is where all the reviews go. So, i changed the Link Type to 'any URL', and under URL put techabsurd.com/reviews/ then I pressed update, refreshed my site and the button was there. Unfortunately, when I click the button, id get 404 page not found. In the Google Chrome address bar, it has changed my link to http://techabsurd.com/skins/evopress/techabsurd.com/reviews/

thats not my link!! it must be techabsurd.com/reviews/ not that long thing! Please help, this is incredibly frustrating!! D:

Hi

When I go to your site and click on all reviews it brings me to your phpBB site (But it is Wordpress??). Maybe you just need to clear your brouwser cache.

I have something similar. I use the widget Menu link, There I select Any URL and the url starts with http://
Starting with http:// is important otherwise it will not work.

Hope that helps
Kind regards

Hi,

Just to make it clear for further readers, the URLs to "external" resources ( those that are not part of b2evolution ) must be defined including the protocol ( http:// or https:// ) i.e.: http://example.com. If we don't do that, they will be interpreted as internal links.
