I just installed a plugin of mine twice. It installs twice but I have no way on the plugin subtab to know which is which (identical names). Also when I click the first one it shows the plugin code that's part of the plugin, but when I click the second one it has that field empty. Plus just to make it more fun my plugin puts a tab on the tools tab. Both carry the same name, so it's kinda confusing which tab is doing what.

So how can I have the plugin see if it already exists and if so give each additional installation a different name, a corresponding code value, and the same for the tools subtab?

Or can someone point to a plugin that doesn't suffer an identity crisis if it's installed twice?
