I've get it working!

Looks like google waits that the sitemap is called something.xml. I've created some rules with mod_rewrite and now everuthing works ok (with exception os pririty - all the posts get the same priority - a working example: http://devlog.waltercruz.com/sitemap.xml)

Can you tell me what you did to get it working? Currently I've submitted my RSS feed as the sitemap and it works but not for as much stuff.
