[1.9.x] office 2007

My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x

I searched for "Office 2007" but that didn't help much... returned hundreds of posts that has nothing to do with Office 2007.

How do you add an account to Word 2007 to automatically post to your b2 blog? I haven't figured it out, so hopefully someone can. :D

Just create an account in Word, set it to use MetaWebLog with the URL as <yourbaseurl>/xmlsrv/xmlrpc.php then supply your login details.

You can also setup Word to FTP pictures to a location somewhere too.

Does this support formatting as well? Believe it or not, I was about to ask about blogging from Office.

I don't have 2007, but it would be cool if you could write a blog, do bold, italics, underlined, and text hyperlinks, and then save it to the blog post (this is what dasmirnov describes)... have you tested it?

Alternatively, it would be cool if the b2evo editor could detect hyperlinks, and formatting during a copy and paste from Office to the Editor text box.
