I was still having the same problem, so on a hunch I disabled some old and useless plugins: AM Custom and Edit Permissions Control. Since the effect from both of these comes standard in 2.0, I didn't mind losing them and the error went away.
Go figure :)

I have, it was cured when I grabbed a fresh zip ( I picked a different mirror ) and re-uploaded the /inc/ folder ;)
