Hi,

I've edited the PixelGreen skin by Styleshout to suit my site better and made another stylesheet for mobile devices. I've tested it on IE7, FF2 and IE Mobile but would appreciate comments from others, especially mobile users.

http://www.juicyreviews.co.uk using b2evo 2.4

I'm also after some advice on using internal links with b2evo, as I'm having problems. By this I mean internal links linking to elements within a page (I'm wanting to add a Skip to Content link in the mobile version.

Lastly, does anyone know of a Back Office skin for mobile users?
Thanks,
Clive

What is the web site for your mobile devices?

What we really need here is a plain text skin.

When we can create a blog that aggregates the rest (or original one). Then we can set up this 'mobile blog' with a plain text skin.

There custom and basic ones are too clumsy so we just have to play around with those. I'll give it a shot one of these weekends.

For right now, I have mine going to my feedburner page. This doesn't solve the problem of people clicking there and then getting to the full blown version. Right now I actually have a loop since I'm checking for mobile under the main index.php file. I have to move this to the skin.

Check it out: http://www.theAlert.org with your mobile phone.

Would a static page help here?

Edgar.

Right now, I'm having issues as far as where to place the header redirect code.

I have the detect and redirect code inside the main index.php
http://www.thechristianalert.org/index.php

this works great. My mobile is detected and I get a list of my blog posts formatted for my mobile.

However, if I click the title/permalink to a specific post, then the index.php page detects my mobile and leaves me on the main page (index.php).

What I want is for my index.php to redirect me to the post itself.

if I move my detect code inside the skin/index.main.php file, then I get an error that "headers" have already been sent.

Moving it to the skin would be the best solution.

Thoughts?

In case you are wondering, i got my mobile code here:

By the way, Andy has written a mobile plugin for wordpress. If we get pass the headers already been sent, we can publish this for b2evo.
