I've had a website hosted on Yahoo! for about a year and a half, and I've never been happy with the blogging software. Found b2evo a few days ago and have been very happy with how easy I got it up and running. I've spent considerable time modifying the header image and font types, changed the hexadecimal codes for the font, label and border colors. Color-coordinated the icons and replaced others with my own creations and used my own design for the background. I'm a novice when it comes to coding, so it takes me some trial & error to get things right. Not a lot of content yet, but I'm proud of what I've designed. And I kept the b2evo links all intact. Check it out at http://prairiefirejournal.com.
It makes "Comic Sans MS" look good :)
Your barn wall boards do have a very obvious crack in them when they repeat . (Firefox 2). Other than that, well done.
You might want to try the horizontal boards from this skin, as a background image that repeats seamlessly.
