It's not like "The Law" or anything. To me though someone who wants free support for free software should be willing to give a little bit back in the form of a link to b2evolution.net. All skins start with it, so it's not like it takes anything extra to have it eh?

BUT I've been busted in the past for not seeing it on the page, so I take the time to view source if I don't see it on a page. In your case I found that right under the "Who's online" widget the link to b2evolution.net exists, but the image that was linked is gone. So basically it doesn't exist in terms of people or search engines seeing it.

Anyway what you want isn't stock and AFAIK hasn't been done and probably could be done, but I would go about it differently than you propose. Make a plugin is the way ... I think.

Take a look at the front page of this site and you will see that we are one of the few people that made a FULL price donation for the software. So for me it was not free. I saw something good and I paid for it. We also were planing to pay again as more features were added.

I am sorry you feel this way. I will not darken the doors here again for support.

Please accept our (my) apologies. We consider a linkback to B2evolution a bare minimum if you want support from the team. Of course a donation is welcome as well, but we don't receive that many donations.
Anyway. We are glad to help you. As a matter of fact I had a plugin laying around that needed only a little tinkering to do exactly what you want.
Download and install this plugin: [url=http://www.blog.hemminga.net/media/blogs/plugins/sorted_bloglist_plugin.zip]sorted_bloglist_plugin.zip[/url]
In the widget settings for your blog replace the Public Blog list widget with this Sorted bloglist plugin. In the settings for the widget is the possibility to show the full title of the blogs instead of the short name. As a bonus you can reorder the blogs. That is what's the plugin was about.

FYI-
Be aware that if you use the 'sorted_bloglist_plugin' v.0.9.1, and you use the feature "Add freestyle Extra links" whereby you add 1 or more URLs and you didn't add labels in the field "Label (text) in Blogroll", the labels that will be assigned to those URLs through the plugin code will be very vulgar - the ones in the code var

$spam = array( 'Porn', 'Penis', 'Viagra' );

I just found this out a few minutes ago and was shocked when I looked at the blog page! 8|

Hopefully, that will be fixed in the next version.

This plugin is very useful. I was trying to use the Public Blog List to display in the sidebar but without the title: "Blogs" appearing...

This plugin lets me do that and more.

Any plans on putting it in the main plugins list?

@berthelemy2: Thanks for the compliments. The plugin is meant to fill the gaps left by the Public Bloglist widget.
For some reason not known to mankind I seldomly notify the maintainer of the plugins list. Regard them to be in permanent beta state of development. A comprehensive list of my plugins (plus those of other developers) is found here: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=160495
You could also install the AM BOPIT plugin which gives you a list of current plugins in your Dashboard together with a direct downoad link.
