[1.10.x] Blog by Email feature doesn't work after upgrade to

My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x

I have upgraded my blog from V1.10.3 to 2.4.2, now I find that I cannot use the Blog by email feature as I get the fatal error message :- Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: item trinitydavis/blogs/cron/getmail.php on line 335

Line 335 says :- $edited_Item = & new Item();

I have made no changes to the settings before or after the upgrade.

This is such a brilliant feature that I really want to get working properly as it was fantastic in v1.10.3

Can anyone help?

Hi,

I did a commit to cvs of a rework of the getmail.php script to cvs. If you want to give it a try get the latest revision and replace your existing file. Don't forget to backup first.
You'll also need mime_parser.php and rfc822_addresses.php.

I have tested it to work with a 2.4.1/2.4.2 release and also with the upcoming 2.5.0.

In the main configuration select "POP3 trough imap extension". You need to install php_imap in case your server doesn't have it by default.
I suggest to turn on "test mode" in combination with the "Perform Server Test" links. This way no data will be changed on your server.

When I try to download it I get an error message

"An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource 'http://evocms.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/evo..."

I've downloaded the other 2 files ok
