My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x

New user to b2Evolution - we have developed WordPress blogs for our clients in the past, but this is first for b2E.

Blog setup at http://casecontracting.xpanxion.net/news/ ... got it to work with page styling no problem, but when you click on posts from the home page the pages don't exist (404 file not found, and of course they aren't in directory structure).

Must be something obvious we are overlooking - any help????

b2E version is 2.4.

one other note - original pages created with blog (sample pages) did the same thing - we thought they might not have installed properly, then created our own, but with the same result.

Thanks...Phillip

firstly hi and welcome to the forums and good luck with your b2..you must have already known but uhh.. double post is not nice.. triple post is nothing but trash next time, try merging them..
because people in here really know what they are doing you dont need to bump your topic (if that was what you meant to do :P) and traditionally bump posts before 10 hours are considered as double posting

a link example of your post..

this is what you have:(wrong)

http://casecontracting.xpanxion.net/news/blog1.php/2008/04/18/large-us-retailer-revamping-store-in-sou

this is what it should be :

http://casecontracting.xpanxion.net/news/blog1.php?2008/04/18/large-us-retailer-revamping-store-in-sou

dont know what exactly the problem is, but it might be related to your URL settings (single post url settings probably) or your stub file

Not a bump post, just misc information to help with the case...forum doesn't give me option to delete messages, so didn't have many options.

at any rate, the links are provided on the main blog page, not by me, but by b2E - when you click on the link it generates as the title of the post it displays, validly, a 404.

what kind of problem with a stub file?

ah ok, dont mind me.. i was just trying to lead you to some points which might be the reason of the problem.. currently i cant offer you a certain solution.. try changing your url options, (single post urls especially) and see if the problem persists

Actually, you pointed me in the right direction - I changed my single post url settings and that fixed it. Thanks for the help!
