Every time I post something, I have to go back and edit to get the version right. First I thought I was getting sloppy, but now I've watched carefully. Choose 2.x, as I just did, in the window, and when you submit it, it changes to 1.something. I'm not gonna edit this one after I send.
This is a known bug. Also some forums don't get preview buttons. I guess if I was motivated I'd make a list of which forums ask for a version and get it wrong, but I think sometimes the same forum will get it wrong then right.
