Hi jlalonde,
It's a HTTP 406 error I haven't seen before. It suggests that B2evolution is sending the wrong header information. See e.g. http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E406.html.
Unfortunately the error doesn't tell what is sent that causes the error. I therefore suggest you follow standard error solving routine like uploading each and every file from a fresh B2evoution copy to the server. Mind the /config/ folder. That holds changed user data.
Please report back.
Good luck

Do you have mod_security installed in the Apache server? Yabba also suggests checking your error log. Possibly it contains the output that causes the error.
Good luck

Here is the error I got:
[Mon Sep 08 14:20:28 2008] [error] [client 207.61.206.13] File does not exist: /home/jeanlalo/public_html/carnet-jeanlalonde/406.shtml, referer: http://carnet.jeanlalonde.ca/admin.php?ctrl=users&grp_ID=1
The admin of the hosting tells me that it is probably related to mod_security. He will look at it.
BTW, my host is HostUpon. They are part of the list of hosting services you recommend. I can tell you that they offer very good support!
Hi jlalonde,
I can't really tell from here what's wrong. Is /temp/ the subdir where your blog is located? Can you check through the browser if the file http://www.url_to_your_blog/admin.php exists?
Good luck
