My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I'm trying to provide the rss url of my site to submit it to another site and i get a message saying Please enter a valid RSS/Atom feed URL. The rss url is http://zerodivision.ca/index.php?tempskin=_rss2. What is the problem?

Hi Steven Star,

Welcome to the forums.
The error says there's not proper skin. On your server check if there's a folder /skins/_rss2/. If so, check if there's content in that folder. Aaah, never mind the checks. Grab a fresh copy of B2evolution, unzip and upload the folder [local] b2evolution/blogs/skins/_rss2/ to [server] /skins/. As you're at it check if the /skins/_atom/ folder is missing as well.

You may need to re-install the _rss skin in Dashboard -> Global settings -> Skins install -> Install new (select the _rss skin).
Then if that doesn't work, go to Dashboard -> Misc -> Tools and hit the 'delete prerendered item cache' link.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestions but they didn't work. Maybe its the site that is the problem, the one i am submitting to? Because i can submit feeds to other sites no problem. But i have run across this issue on a few other sites as well. I'm not really sure whats up.

http://zerodivision.ca/index.php?tempskin=_rss2 works
http://zerodivision.ca/index.php?tempskin=_rss2&disp=comments works
http://zerodivision.ca/index.php?tempskin=_atom works
http://zerodivision.ca/index.php?tempskin=_atom&disp=comments works

So there isn't really a problem. Apart from the dot in the link you posted in your first message ;)

There are troubles reported with other sites not accepting feeds from B2evolution. Please try a search in this forum with the service you try to subscribe to. Else post again in this topic and we'll see what the troubles are.

Good luck

ok i did a search for the particular site that i was trying to send my feed to and nothing came up. But i would like to know if there is a way to make a clean version of my rss url?

actually i ended up registering at feedburner and put a feedburner chicklet in my site to appear after each post. Just wondering how to remove the original "Comment feed for this post" that appears in each post

But what site is asking you for a "clean" feed? Without knowing who is complaining it'll be quite hard for anyone to find a way to make them happy.
