My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

hello,

i bought a domain name for cheap and have been having it forward to my blog on a link hidden in my personal domain (domain and hosting with a different company). now i have finally transferred the cheap domain name to my main host and would like to transfer my blog.

i've seen suggestions of importing/exporting and i've seen others that say i just need to change the base URL since i've copied all the files over from the old folder to the new and the database is already in place on my host....

well, which is it?
