Most stuff around the actual post area is made from widgets in containers. Go to your Blog settings -> pick a blog -> widgets subtab and you will see a list of containers ... with widgets in them. Sounds to me like you might be wanting to use a Free HTML widget that you put good old fashioned html into to create the link to your "actual domain home" instead of the blog installation home.
