Display number of posts in a category

My b2evolution Version: 2.4.2

I would like to display the number of posts in a category in the category side box. Just a number in brackets after the category name would be great.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Looks like this was removed in the 2.x version of b2evolution... :(

I wanted this too, I will talk with the other developers!

Still no one else that wants this as well? Seems like a pretty basic feature to me.
