Quick Tags And Smilies Don't Work

My b2evolution Version: 2.4.5

Hi;

I am fairly new at this so it might be a silly question. But I have problems with Quick Tags And Smilies plug-ins not working. I have no idea were to start looking to fix this. And I can't tell if add new plug-ins or using a new skin is causing the problem. I go to post in either the simple or expert mode and niether work. The smiles do nothing. And if I add a link it asks for the URL then does nothing.

Where do I go to check that?

I see a global seettings / file types /

I dont see any java extensions there. HTML is locked. The blog is at default settings.

JS is on/off via your browser.

What happens if you use a "default" skin?
Maybe your skin doesn't have the correct links to load the JScripts

Java is enabled on the browser. this didn't happen untill I changed skins and add a couple of plug-ins.

Smilies work on default skin.

Ok now I am really confused. After I switched from the default skin back to the skin I liked. Everything is working !!!

Strange ! :-/
