I've done that.
Should I still not be able to get into the admin screen?
Thx
Chris
Tad hard for admin to check your session in a database that's not there ;)

my host assures me the database is ok.
I can see it aswell (and settings) in my CP.
So the DB is there, how do I get to the admin screen?
thx
Chris
I have another question with this:
Which file (within b2e) holds the settings (i.e. of my database name/psw/id etc.)?
I cannot seem to find that either...
If it is in a sub dir, could you please add that info to.
thx
Chris
Your database connection details are in /conf/_basic_config.php

Hi all,
I've checked all my settings in the config.php file, and they all seem to be ok.
What could be a next step that I can take?
re-run the install script? if I do that will it destroy the database? media file?
My host tells me to check the .htaccess file. I'm not sure what that is, I do not see this file in my blog directory.
To my knowledge I've never used .htaccess either.
would really appreciate the help!
thx
Chris
You need to ask your host what changes they made between your blog being able to connect to the database and not being able to connect to the database ;)

Hi all,
Indeed my ISP made some changes (?) and all works well now. Thanks for your help and patience.
Chris
If you haven't changed anything then I suggest you email your host ;)
