[1.10.x] An 'About Us' php page

My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x

Hey, dudes.

I want to make a "about us" page on www.sobrenada.org. It will be accessed by an ordinary link on the right menu (right below the "Pagina Inicial" link).

I thought about making a simple .html page, but it will limit my interactions with it later. So maybe someone has a ready-to-go .php template to share.

Nice things to have in it: A quick profile about the authors (With avatar and things like Age, Local, Preferred food, etc), about the website, some news or fun tidbits.

Hi

I think on the 1.10.x version you would have to create a separate php file that used the same css etc to make it tie in with the look and feel of your blog. You could then hack your skin to link to it.

One thing I would recommend is to upgrade to the latest version of b2evolution as they introduced the concept of a 'page' in the 2.x series. A page sounds like it is exactly what you are looking for. It is a managed by the blog so has the same look and feel and you can put a widget on the side of your site to link to it.
