My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Good morning,

My excuses in advance for this question

I'desperatly trying to get my blog working but keep getting the famous http 500 error. I've tried different htaccess modes but no result.
I've installed b2e many times and usually they work out of the box but on my latest project it seems impossible.
I've contacted my host but they refuse to give a clear answer. (of course, I'm the only and first one with this problem heheheh...

I'm not too bright on the technical side so please ... 8|

the url of my project: edited

Thanks in advance! :D

Hi wpompen,

Welcome to the forums.
The link works fine. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Good luck

Thanks for the warm welcome :-)
I'm using these forums for years and this is the first time I couldn't find a solution heheheh...

Can you please click "read more" in one of the articles?
That's when the problems occur.

:-)

The URL generated by B2evolution should work. But it's possible your host did some tricks to prevent code injection.

This is the url generated when clicking 'Read More ...':

http://www.nvow.net/pages/index.php/2009/01/21/extended-post?blog=1#more26

Try to play with the Single Post URLs in Dashboard -> Blog Setting -> URLs (see image)

I predict the first two options to work properly.
Do try the .htaccess trick. In the root of your blog you find a file called sample.htaccess. Rename that to .htaccess (dot included). May work, may not work.

Good luck

Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure my host is the problem...
Ive tried several combinations and also the htaccess"trick".
When I install the same blog with the same settings on another server (host) it works instantly.

I've got no clue what to do, right now I'm considering a switch of host...

edit:
We've switched and all problems are solved!
