My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I tested this and it does not work.
I logged out from the blog and i tried to send an e-mail to the comment author [in this case the admin - i.e., myself], the form appears fine, filled it in, hit submit, all is well and then i see the

Your message has been sent.

However, i do not receive any e-mail after that and this is not a mail server problem. i tried the e-mail account and it works fine. This is from within the blog issue. I am using nifty corners.

Thanks,

Do you receive emails from contact form?

Now the problem is wider.

no e-mails are going from the blog to my e-mail account on the server.
Even new user registration is not working.

Enable debug, send an email again and post the output here.

In conf/_advanced.php set $debug=2

Alternatively you can move to the linux hosting and forget about emails/permissions problems :)

i did set debug = 2 as suggested.

i do not understand what do you mean by output?

when you hit submit, it gives you success message sent
and then no messages arrive to the inbox

You can now undo the debug. I tested the email and seems like it was sent successfully.

that's what it does.
but i receive nothing in the inbox

Did you change anything in b2evo send_mail function? I don't understand why the subject field is encoded

Subject «=?ISO-8859-1?B?W0VDT19DcmlzaXNdIE5ldyBjb21tZW50IG9uICJQcm9wb3NlZCBTb2x1?= =?ISO-8859-1?B?dGlvbihzKSI=?=»

b2evolution started encode email headers since version 2.5-beta, but you are on v2.4.6

no.
do not even know where the function is.
