I dug around and found the importer. However the importer I found imports from database to database? That doesn't seem very umm... modern.
Is there an importer that will import a previously exported blog (i.e: a text file of some sort)?
Hmm... not only is exporter pretty rudimentary, it also doesn't work.
I'm guessing it assumes that the username and password for the database is the same (it only asks for a single copy of each). Unfortunately for anyone who uses Fantastico to install their blogs, access to the databases is different for each installation. In other words, my Wordpress database log in is different than my b2evolution.
Your database will be used read only..
Hum, Maybe we should add 2 passwords fields ;)
Will take a look. What are your b2evolution and wordpress verisons?
b2evolution: 2.4.5
WordPress: 2.6.2
will take a look today.
current versions of b2evolution has a built-in wordpress importer
