What about a just-before-the-credits widget container?

I don't have an address for a good example, but I've seen things on the web that have links to featured stories or to other pages or to ads or to something across the bottom. Sometimes it takes the form of a horizontal row of boxes with content in them, often including a photo. This row comes after the bottom of the longest column and before credits etc.

It appears to serve "stickiness" functions: one more chance to elicit continuing involvement before the person (may) click away.
