My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hi I am a new user here and struggling with WLW and the metaweblog API. As has been mentioned in several other posts, WLW has problems with the

separator whereby everything after the separator is lost. I have had an email exchange with MS tech support and they have stated:

break goes into the "mt_text_more" struct field, per the Movable Type spec.

Which explains the root of the problem (and I can easily add a hack to make this work), but are they right? Looking at the reference it strikes me that “moveable type” is a platform rather than a standard and therefore WLW should restrict itself to the standardised keys unless it detects the “movable type” platform. But I am way out of my comfort zone with these standards so would like some guidance from the experts in this forum before replying to MS.
