How do I insert a piece of code before the <body> tag?

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hello fellow users. I would like to know how to insert a piece of code before the <body> tag in each page of my blog. I need to do this in particular for Google Analytics. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi, welcome to the forums.
This does depend on what version of b2 you have.
Anyhow, as a guess.. in your skin folder, check out the file named _html_header.inc.php and include you code there, above that body tag :)

Thanks very much. I have the latest version of b2evolution :)

So far I have grown very fond of the software and learned how to use it overnight. I definitely will be writing a review about it tonight! :)

Now I just finished adding the code in the proper area and the Google Analytics tracker is tracking it correctly, all thanks to the quick help of this community.
