Problem With IE8 and Image Blog Title Widget

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I am trying to use the Image Blog Title widget with my website, www.raides.org , and it works in every browser except for IE8.

I have redone the skin to default css, and I have even replaced it with the original files, but still it comes up with the same issue. I also have validated the website and there are no errors.

The image will load in every browser except IE8, in either JPG or PNG format. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have any ideas how to correct this issue?

Just a guess, try to open the image in any editor and save it with different parameters.

Tried that as well. I saved the image in both PNG and JPG format and neither work. Permissions on the server are right, but the image will not appear in IE8 at all.

For kicks :

1) change your alt tag to something that doesn't include [] or the word error

2) change your css for pageHeader to remove the broken background url

Sorry, for the guesswork but I don't have IE8

i set the header tag and it still shows what looks to be the website title tag for the image.

i also removed the broken image link from the css file and still the picture does not show up.

is there a different plugin for an image title widget?

Just hard-code the image tag in skins/[SKIN NAME]/_body_header.inc.php
