Display Recent Forum Post on sidebar - Anyone done it?

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I have a B2E blog but I also have a phpbb bulletin board set up. I have been trying for months to figure out how to get the most recent posts in the forum to show up in the side bar on the main page of my blog. This has been a huge problem as none of the work arounds I have found use HTML they are all java and since the sidebar widgets are HTML containers I haven't been able to do it. Is there anyway to bypass the widgets?

Or has anyone else been able to figure out how to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should hard-code the script in index.main.php, you can't get dynamic content using b2evo widgets unless you want to use javascript

If it has an rss feed then use the rss feed widget

Don't have a feed on the forums that does seem like a simple solution - Thanks I will try that first
