Which part of the Be2evolution back office actually calls getmail.php ? (which is equivalent to my first question in fact)
I can't figure out that.
I even made a search for the php code files containing the "getmail.php" string, and nothing relevant was found.
Thank you if someone answers...

none. you have to set up a cronjob for this.

Ok thank you...
I was beginning to guess it ;)
So, when do you think it is the best idea to launch this job ?
Each time a visitor makes a hit ?
Each time a writer logs in ?
Uh... any good idea ???
What is your method ?

When I used to post to my blog from my mobile, I had the cronjob running every 30 minutes. It was often enough to get the news up there pretty quickly, without causing too much of a headache for my host (I was hosting with a friend for free at the time).

depends on how often you post via mail.
my cronjob is checking every hour and i think that's really enough.
