My b2evolution Version: 3.3.1

I have the enhanced version of the video player plug in on my site but it falls a little short when I am trying to post embeded video from sites not listed on the support list.

I would really, really, really like to an active link to this video:

<embed src='http://cnettv.cnet.com/av/video/cbsnews/atlantis2/player-dest.swf' FlashVars='linkUrl=http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5419844n&tag=contentMain;cbsCarousel&releaseURL=http://cnettv.cnet.com/av/video/cbsnews/atlantis2/player-dest.swf&videoId=50078666&partner=news&vert=News&si=254&autoPlayVid=false&name=cbsPlayer&allowScriptAccess=always&wmode=transparent&embedded=y&scale=noscale&rv=n&salign=tl' allowFullScreen='true' width='425' height='324' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer'></embed><br/><a href='http://www.cbsnews.com'>Watch CBS News Videos Online</a>

But I can see no way to do it using the embeded video plugin. And it wont let me use the banned embed call.

Hi giluxis

Welcome to the forums. It would require an updated video plugin to add a new video source so thats probably not going to help you right now.

If you want to just use the code you pasted above you can disable to security features in the groups section of b2evo and it should let the code through.

Thanks. I must confess that I wasn't familiar with that aspect of the site. Since I use it solely as my personal blog I haven't concerned myself with the group security functions.

Thanks
