I don't use Windows and back when I did, I never tried Windows Live Writer, so I can only guess which options are available: Try selecting either "MetaWeblog" or "Blogger".

Sorry for delay and tanks for the answer, I tried both Blogger and Metaweblog and I was not successful.
When I used Metaweblog and Blogger with the remote posting URL of www.benhour.com/xmlsrv/xmlrpc.php , I got this error
" An error occurred while attempting to connect to your blog: Invalid URI: the format of the URI could not be determined. you must correct this error before proceeding"

What other application do you recomending for desktop blogging?

Try entering http://www.benhour.com/xmlsrv/xmlrpc.php (with the "http://"!).

I don't make use of desktop blogging, but I played with [url=http://qtm.blogistan.co.uk/]qtm[/url] once (while improving the XML-RPC API) and it worked.

I also propblemas with "windows writer". But I will say that does not work very well with "windows writer". so if you can assure is that only asks username, password and address of the blog, nothing more.

with the 2.x version worked better now with the 3.x version gives problems. "windows writer" does not support b2evolution but I think there way to configure, no how. but if I find out I communicate in this forum
