Is there a way to hide certain posts from the main index? I want it so that when you click the category link they show up correctly, but when I post it not to go straight onto the main page as a post.
You MIGHT be able to do this with a stub file and the 'catsel' parameter. Not sure as I've not played with 3.blah at all, and my implementation in 2471 is to add categories from a different blog to a blog. But anyway it MIGHT work like this: add
$catsel = '16,17,52,';
to your stub file and include only the category numbers you want to display posts from. The category list should still show all the category names. The question mark for me is if when you click the category name will it then show the posts, or will the catsel value NOT having that number make those posts not show.

Worth testing?
