My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

It's been a while since I have been on this forum and it has been a while since I have upgraded my b2evolution. I was wondering if someone has designed a plug in or adaptation for b2evolution that works similar to the following sites:

PVP

The above sites are designed using Word Press with a Comic Press adaptation.

My site is frankensteined together using b2evolution and some other PHP with IFRAMEs, it works, but I am looking to completely redesign and revise my site. I would like to use b2evolution because I feel it is far more stable and easier to work with when it comes to design, also there are less security issues. My site:

Thanks ahead of time.

Hi proprietor. For a while I tinkered with a "comic press like" adaptation but finally figured out it isn't needed. Almost anything that can be done with WP+CP can be done with b2evo almost unmodified. One of the few bits that it does that b2evo doesn't do nicely is multiple blog posts without multiple comics visible.

Dig this: upload a comic then make it be a post. Edit the post to have whatever text content you want, then publish it. Put only one post per page and the next page will be the next comic.

For a client of mine I went three steps further. I first made 80 by 160 thumbs be the prev/next link. Because a photoblog post might not have an image (like a video or just text), I liberated the buttons that come with WP+CP for those situations. The only thing I didn't do was give a "oldest / most recent" link the way WP+CP does.

I'm kinda fairly pretty much certain that using the multiblog page one could have one post from the photoblog (comicblog) and multiple posts from another blog dedicated to only having text posts, thus duplicating the "one comic many posts" aspect of CP.

I will have to play with the multi-blog concept.

Is there an example I could look at?

Thanks

Thanks, I will work with the template and see if I can get it to look the way I want. Bump the blogs around, etc.

That's the idea. Most folk don't do much with that file, or summary.php, probably because it isn't in the /skins/ folder. But it is there and it shows what can be done. Styling it isn't too hard I think - just point to the right path I guess.

OK. I had some time to tinker with things and here are the results:

I am having a minor problem with the blog that displays the comic. I played with the blog settings to display only one post, but as you can see, the previous post displays below, but cut off due to the space limit in the css file. How can I fix this?
Also, I would like to add buttons into the mix to control things. A "first", "previous", "next", "last" set of buttons would be slick.
Thanks for all the help.

Well, I think there are some reasons why the b2evolution version is not entered. Might have the same design of the b2evolution you have. Might try to check all the possible cause of why did not entered the b2evolution in the online.
