No that is not the reason. Mail was sent in plain-text.
Well, then it seems to be a bug. That's weird, since it worked when I tested it last time. I haven't time to reproduce this, though, maybe some other developer wants to do it? :)
The only idea I have that you sent the mail in a HTML-only format. If this is the case, try sending it in plain text.
