I'm rather new to this blogging business, but I'm a technical type and can do PHP/mySQL and general 'programming' type stuff.

I installed b2Evo a couple of weeks ago and all seems to be fine, except for receiving Ping-Backs. I tested it with a friend (running Wordpress) and was able to ping him no probs, but he was unable to ping me back. I'm thinking that there's something wrong at my end somewhere but I don't know what or even where to start fixing it.

Are there any known issues setting up Pingback that I should be aware of?
