[3.3.2] no images in excerpts

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.2

Does anyone know how to display images when post contents is set to “Post excerpts”? (BlogSettings->SEO->MainPage->PostContents)

It appears that the excerpt is only for text. I have an aggregate blog and need to display a thumbnail image along with text excerpt w/o affecting original post.

The images should be attached (linked) to the post.

thanks. That should work, i just need to change the style to be inline with text.
