[2.x] Contact/Message form question

My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hello,
Regarding my contact form, when validation errors occur, it currently shows those errors on a separate page (message_send.php)
The user then has to hit the back button in the browser to return to the form. Is there an easy way to avoid this step, in other words, incorporate this functionality so the user doesn't have to hit back button? Not sure if this is an Ajax thing or not.

I apologize if this is obvious, I am a Flash guy so traditional web dev is a bit foreign to me.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

I've searched the forum and could not find anything on this topic.
So no one is using ajax form validation, or even js inline validation?
Is what I am trying to do even possible on b2evo?

I feel that forcing a user to click back(to the contact form) is a bit of an outdated approach and I am hoping someone has tackled this and can point me in the right direction...

Bumping the thread every few hours is not a good idea.

What you request is not possible in current version of b2evolution. I agree with you that it would be a nice feature though.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for bumping.

That is unfortunate that this functionality cannot be altered in the current version. Hopefully this will be added at some point.
