My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I would like to create posts on secondary pages that I've created. Is this possible? I'm running 3.3.3.

Basically, I was hoping to have a home page, then other pages such as "about", "news", "Q&A", etc. where I can add posts but only to those pages. Can this be done?

An example would be to be able to add "News" posts only to the News page.

Create a new blog call 'News' and make posts in that blog.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't that just create a new blog, not just a page within this blog? Am I missing something. As of now, when I click on one of the sample blogs that I'm not using it opens up a whole different page/skin/etc. I'm just looking for a page tab up top that I can post within separately from the home page.

The hierarchy goes on like that

b2 Instance > Blogs > Main Categories > Subcats > Items [post-page]

it allows a wide range of variety for classification..depends on what are you trying to achieve while you are categorizing them..

Classifying per category or subcategory will allow you to create a post hierarchy and visual customizations, however if you need more than that, like different urls etc.. you will need to create a new blog

you can make all the blogs look identical, but afai got from what you said, categorizing them using sub categories and/or main categories would suffice for you.

You're going to have to be more clear, I don't really understand what you're saying...

How do I make categories and sub categories?
