My b2evolution Version: 2.x

My blog had an RSS feed that was working fine. But now, the RSS 2.0 and the Atom links

http://www.hudson2001.com/blogs/index.php/baby/?tempskin=_rss2

http://www.hudson2001.com/blogs/index.php/baby/?tempskin=_atom

lead to this:

404 Not Found

b2evolution cannot resolve the requested URL.

The b2evolution link is the main link to my blogs. :?:

The RSS and Atom feeds for my other blogs work just fine. I don't think I made any changes to the one blog, so I am at a loss.

EDITED TO ADD: I just discovered another blog of mine where the RSS/Atom feeds don't work and lead to the same error.

I'd need an admin ++ ftp login before I had a chance at that one.

Tad busy atm though so maybe better to nag sam2kb ;)

Crap, that means it's not something simple like a checkbox in the Dashboard or a wonky widget. And I'd have to figure out how to assign an ftp login. EEK!

These are my options for creating an ftp user account:

Domain: Ftp account with the root directory in the domains home directory (one up from the public_html)
Ftp: Ftp account with the root directory in the domains public_ftp directory
User: Ftp account with the root directory as the users name in the public_html directory

I assume I would do the FTP selection? :?:

You need an ftp account for public_html, your "domain" one is closest but grants more access than is really needed.

Might be worth checking that you have rss enabled for the problem blogs.

/hangs head in stupidity

I just checked both blogs and I had them set to No Feeds. DOH! I swear I have NO recollection of doing that - and why would I only do it to two random blogs (out of five)? And I even THOUGHT about checking the settings but really didn't think that was it so didn't do it.

Sigh.

But that said, it's fixed...so YAY!

Look on the bright side, it save you having to worry about an ftp account ;)

On that note, there was a spot for a custom login, but I didn't even want to get into that. :D
