It used to be that I could delete a whole bunch of spam by clicking on the "no" symbol next to the address or name. Now, I can delete only one post at a time and have to manually enter what I want excluded.
nope that's not right. The "no" symbol is still working as before, except it's ajaxified (depends on your b2evo version). You must have a missing file with your upload or something.
